Pat Gallant is a fourth generation native New Yorker and mother of a son. Her work has appeared in publications such as the Saturday Evening Post, Writer's Digest, The New Press Literary Quarterly, Chicken Soup for the Writer's Soul, Family Gatherings, and other major publications. More of her writing appears in several anthologies,
including a Cup of Comfort for Christmas and The Simple Pleasures of Friendship. She has just completed a book of literary nonfiction shorts titled "Holding on to Right-Side Up." Ms. Gallant was a finalist in the 1991 PEN Syndicated Fiction Project and has won the New Century Writer's Award in 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2003.
